Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information the Mozhi Vilaiyaattu mobile game ("the App", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the App you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account information — if you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, profile photo, and your Google account identifier. Signing in is optional; you can play as a guest without it.
• Game progress — levels completed, coins, wisdom points, and your display name. This is saved on your device. Once you choose a name after level five (or let the app choose one for you), it is also sent to our game server so you appear on the leaderboard. Without Google sign-in it is linked only to a random identifier made on your device, not to who you are. If you sign in with Google, the same data is linked to your account so your progress can sync across devices.
• App usage (analytics) — we use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the game is played: for example levels started, completed or left unfinished, hints used, and tutorial progress. It uses an app-instance identifier and device details such as model and OS version. It does not receive your name or email address.
• Advertising identifier & device data — we use Google AdMob to show ads. AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, and ad-interaction data, as described in Google's policies.

Feedback (optional) — if you send feedback in Settings, we store your message, app version, language and current level on our game server to help improve the game. Your name and email are not attached. Unsent drafts are saved on your device until sent.

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos or messages from other apps.

How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and sync your progress across devices.
• To display the global leaderboard (your display name and wisdom score).
• To show ads that help keep the game free.
• To understand basic, aggregated gameplay activity and improve the App.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that make the App work:

• Google AdMob — advertising identifier and ad-interaction data, for serving ads.
• Google Sign-In / Play services — for authentication.
• Google Analytics for Firebase — app-usage events and an app-instance identifier, for understanding gameplay.

Data security & retention

All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. We retain your account data for as long as your account exists. A leaderboard entry without Google sign-in is deleted after 90 days without play. You can delete either at any time (see below).

Deleting your data

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data:

• In the app: open Profile → Delete Account.
• Or via the web: see games.renesundar.dev/mozhi/delete-account.

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
